Xbox 360 Controllers Get Colorful

It used to be that you had to actually do something new to grab the attention of a gamer. It could be a new peripheral, a new game… whatever. These days, however, it seems like a color swap is enough to get everyone in stitches. Check out what has happening with the DS Lite and you’ll see what I mean.

Microsoft isn’t immune to this palette-swapping phenomenon, having just announced a pair of new controllers for the Xbox 360. Yes, the QWERTY thumb-board was there too, but the bigger news came from the new pink and blue controllers. No extra buttons. No Wii-like motion-sensing. Just a cute pink and blue (with blouses to match).

Could this mean that baby blue and powder pink Xbox 360 systems are on the way?
