WiiWare: TV Show King

Now that the whole WiiWare phenomenon has hit North America, we’re left wondering if any of these initial launch titles are worth our valuable Wii Points. Nintendo Wii Fanboy had the opportunity to put TV Show King through its ropes and the net result is something that is a Mii-infused version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

You get a great game show atmosphere and 3000 different trivia question, and the quest is to get your Mii to win as much money as possible. The Mii integration is definitely a cool touch, especially if you have inspired versions of Shigeru Miyamoto, Darth Vader, and Hello Kitty in there. The Miis that aren’t playing populate the studio audience.

In the end, Wii Fanboy gives the Gameloft-developed TV Show King — which sells for 1000 Wii Points — a mediocre six out of ten. For a better WiiWare experience, they recommend the 9/10 LostWinds adventure instead.
