Wii Music Track List

wiimusic-list.jpg

You know how Rock Band and Guitar Hero go through quite a few licensing hoops to get those tracks onto your home console? It seems that Nintendo is taking a wholly different approach with Wii Music, because I have a feeling that Ninty will have no trouble with licensing and rights for its rhythm game.

The song list has just been released for Wii Music and it contains some of the most random tracks I’ve ever seen. Instead of turning to guys like Metallica and Iron Maiden, Nintendo has turned its attention to its own game library and songs from the public domain. Have you been itching to rock out to something by KK Slider? Only on Wii Music! Other tracks include Mexican folk songs, Yankee Doodle, and Happy Birthday. Seriously. WTF.
