Weezer Red Coming to Rock Band DLC Next Week

If you thought your initial investment in Rock Band for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 was pricey enough (about 200 bucks with taxes!), you really have sunken your teeth into the realm of downloadable content yet. It’s far too easy to hop onto the Xbox Marketplace or PlayStation Store and just start buying new songs left and right.

We already know that Offspring will have some new songs for us soon, but in the meantime, another notable announcement has been made in Rock Band DLC land. Along with the Pixies tracks getting released next week, rock fans will be able to download no fewer than three songs from the newest Weezer self-titled album.

The three songs from the so-called Red Album will be Dreamin’, The Greatest Man That Ever Lived, and Troublemaker. No Pork and Beans for this go-around, but I wouldn’t be all that surprised if the song got released at a future date.
