Video Games and Sex: A Retrospective

Sex. It’s the thing that seems to infiltrate every aspect of our lives and our entertainment. We see them in movies, on television, in magazines, and yes, even in video games. To give us a full perspective on the relationship between video games and sex, a professor from the Savannah College of Art and Design decided to put together the clever flash movie embedded above.

Daniel Floyd goes through all the early days of sex and video games, including a classic title that rewarded General Custer with a native American woman to rape. Along came text-based games and plenty of adult-oriented titles on the PC.

Yes, it’s a little on the educational side of things, but this video — in all its snub hilarity — is well worth a few minutes of your time.
