Unlock All Rock Band 2 Songs (Without the Work)

There’s something to be said about putting in a hard day of work and earning everything that you receive. There’s a richly rewarded experience to be enjoyed if you’re not given everything on a silver platter, because you know that you’ve earned it and the reward is that much more rewarding. Then again, sometimes we’re just lazy (or impatient) and we want it now, now now.

If you happen to fall into the latter category, unlocking all those songs in Rock Band 2 — which was released yesterday — through the standard World Tour and Challenge modes can be an exercise in frustration, particularly if you’re not that good at it yet. Thankfully, there is a very easy (and nearly effortless) way to unlock all of the 84 songs on the Rock Band 2 disc.

Go into the Game Modifier screen and enter this special code: Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue. Yes, it’s the same unlock code from the first Rock Band, for those of you keeping score at home.
