Unleash the Force, Play as Darth Vader

Star Wars. It’s got to be one of the most famous and most successful franchises of all time, not only in terms of the movies and the related merchandise, but also the video games. Coming this September is another look at the Jedi vs. Sith universe where you will be able to control the secret apprentice of Darth Vader. This already sounds exciting enough, especially with the Wii controls (wield a light saber!), but it turns out that you can play as the Lord of the Sith too.

Before being introduced to the secret apprentice, you actually have the opportunity to control Darth Vader in the game’s opening moments. Don that mask and breathe hard as you go around choking people from afar and wreaking all sorts of Sith-powered havoc. May the force be with you. Better still, they say that The Force Unleashed lets you “have access to force powers that are amped up, over the top and in some cases, totally out of control.”

Out of control. I thought Darth Vader was supposed to be cold and calculating?
