Twitter Invades Nintendo DS with DSTwitter

We all know that the main appeal of a homebrew cart — like the R4 or DS-X — is its ability to play pirated games. The vast majority of people who buy these kinds of solutions are looking for ways to get away with “free” games. We all know that and, obviously, we don’t condone that kind of activity. Even so, the homebrew carts for the Nintendo DS are also capable of running original applications as well.
The homebrew community has now produced a fun application for the Nintendo DS that effectively lets you use the touchscreen gaming machine as a portable Twitter updater. The appropriately named DSTwitter is a homebrew application that connects to your Twitter account, letting you tell the online world exactly what you are doing. Naturally, you’ll need a Wi-Fi connection for this to work.
DSTwitter 1.1 is available in Spanish, English, French, German, and Italian. As with all homebrew apps, proceed at your own risk.
