Trailers: Final Fantasy XIII

This is the latest trailer for FFXIII taken from the DVD that was given with early copies of the Final Fantasy “Cloud” book. It shows off most of what was originally seen in the E3 2006 trailer, as well as a lot of never-before-seen footage.

That’s from the YouTube page. The trailer’s impressive, showing off some of the PS3′s processing might, but veteran gamers like myself look for actual gameplay footage as well. This clip hints at it, showing a preview of what a combat sequence will look like, but it doesn’t tackle the question head-on. I’m looking forward to more trailers in the future, hopefully some with in-game action.

Will this be the system-seller that the PS3 badly needs?
