Older games may not have the same complicated control schemes and intense graphical prowess as their contemporary counterparts, but those older gamers arguably have much better storylines and, thanks in part to some funky translations, some of the best video game quotes this world has ever seen. Taking a look down memory lane, Old Wizard has compiled a list of what it believes to be the top ten video game quotes of all time. I’m a little upset that no Mega Man quote made the list, nor do we see some fun words from the old NES Punch-Out game. The coach always had kind words for Little Mac and they were some of the most memorable words I’ve ever read in a video game.
Can you identify each of the games based on these quotes? Some of these picks are kind of dubious, but you’re probably all too familiar with the “All your base are belong to us” quote by now, right?
