The Worst of the Worst on the Nintendo DS

There’s bad and then there’s really bad. Despite having some pretty awesome games in its arsenal, the Nintendo DS certainly has its share of duds as well. Between Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Phoenix Wright, you’re bound to come across some rather crappy titles.
Based on the ratings at Metacritic, a list of the five worst Nintendo DS games ever has been compiled and they’re amazingly mediocre. Maybe even stellar in their lack of awesomeness. The bottom five DS games are:
- Peter Jackson’s King Kong
- Rhythm’n Notes: Improve Your Music Skills
- Homie Rollerz
- Wiffle Ball
- Deal or No Deal
I guess that would explain why several retailers were just giving away copies of King Kong shortly after it was released. The game based on Wiffle Ball has to be pretty lame too, because wouldn’t you just be better off playing a real sport and not one that involves a hole-filled plastic ball? I do have to send out my regards to Howie Mandel, though. The game show may be popular, but it doesn’t exactly translate well to fake dollars and a touchscreen display.
