Tekken 2 Hits the Road in Mobile Version

I’ve tried playing the Street Fighter game on a cell phone a few months ago and well, it’s not nearly as satisfying as placing Street Fighter on the Xbox. It’s just not the same. At the same time, we do carry our phones with us everywhere and our Xboxes…. not so much.

If you’re looking to fulfill a fighting game itch on the, it has now been announced that Namco Networks will be launching Tekken 2 for cell phones. The Tekken 2 mobile game will be made available through the Verizon Wireless network in the United States for now, but since the game has been created, it wouldn’t be that far-fetched to find it on Telus, Bell, or Rogers at some point in the future.

Yes, the graphics are dated. Yes, Tekken 2 is not the same as Tekken 5 or Tekken 6. But it’s still Tekken and that’s sweet enough for me.
