Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix = The Best! Around!

Capcom says that it has submitted Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (what a mouthful!) to the guys at PlayStation and Xbox so that the fighting game can be loaded up into their respective online stores. We hope to play this epic revival before the end of November, but we all know how complex and time-consuming these approval processes may be.

Further hopping up our anticipation for SSF2THDR is the latest trailer embedded above. It certainly plays up on the nostalgia angle, tossing us back 10 or 20 years into the era of Master Miyagi and the Karate Kid. At the forty second mark, you’ll hear that epic melody known as “You’re The Best” from the classic Ralph Macchio.

The idea is that it’s showing Street Fighter as a single-elimination tournament. This is just round one, so we’ll have to keep tabs on these trailers to see who is crowned as the true Street Fighter champion.On a side note, I hear that they’re remaking Karate Kid with Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son) taking on the role of the protagonist. WTF?
