Street Fighter IV Collector’s Edition

This news comes from Gamestop of the United States, but I’d imagine that the information is just as accurate for us Canadians north of the border. The pricing may be a little different, given the recent changes to the currency exchange, but the package contents should be the same.

As we look forward to Street Fighter IV on home consoles next year, we can also look forward to some special collector’s edition versions of the game for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. You may have seen the image above a short while ago, but a little more detail has now been made available.

The American retail price for SFIV-CE is $79.99. Included in that package are a soundtrack CD, strategy guide, costume DLC, and a bonus disc with the Street Fighter anime movie. The PlayStation 3 version gets a Crimson Viper figurine, whereas the Xbox 360 version gets a Ryu figurine. If you hop south of the border and pre-order the collector’s edition through Gamestop, they’ll toss in a Ryu headband too.
