StarCraft 2: The Trilogy
BlizzCon took place last weekend and it was there where Blizzard announced that StarCraft 2 is going to be released differently. The highly-acclaimed RTS game is going to be a trilogy, starting with the Terrans, followed by the Zerg and finally concluded by the Protoss.
…StarCraft II now consists of three different stand-alone titles–one for each faction campaign. The first of the StarCraft II trilogy will be StarCraft II Terrans: Wings of Liberty. The second will be StarCraft II Zerg: Heart of the Swarm, with the third and final installment of the main trilogy being StarCraft II Protoss: Legacy of the Void.
Fans will notice that this is the same campaign line as the original StarCraft. Each part of the trilogy will contain 30 or so missions, so there will be plenty of content per box. All three races are available for multiplayer regardless of which box you buy, so don’t worry about getting the short end of stick.
