Standalone Wii Wheel Costs $15
Most of us already know that Mario Kart Wii is going to launch near the end of April (that’s less than a month away!), but we’ve been left wondering how much it would cost to buy additional Wii Wheels for all of our Wii-racing friends. After all, Mario Kart Wii only comes bundled with a single Wii Wheel and if the rest of your friends want in on some tiny steering wheel-action, they’ll want a Wii Wheel of their own.
Well, according to this GameStop ad, the standalone Wii Wheel will cost $14.99. This is the price in the United States, but given the parity between the greenback and the loonie, the Canadian pricing should be pretty similar as well. Yes, the Wii Wheel is optional, but if you decide to go for the full slate and have four Wii Wheels in all (plus the game), you’re looking at a grand total of $95 before taxes. Still cheaper than Rock Band, I guess.
Oh Nintendo. Why must you tempt me with so many accessories? There’s the Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Zapper… and the Wii Wheel too!
