Sony Previews Everquest & Everquest 2 Expansions

There was a time when MMORPGs meant one thing: Everquest. Now, it’s usually associated with World of Warcraft, but that’s a different story. Fans of Sony’s venture into online gaming will be glad to know that there’s something in store for them later this year. Expansions for both Everquest and Everquest 2 are in the works and you can get a preview here:

At its height, Everquest was so popular it was called Evercrack for its addictive nature. Couples were breaking up because of it. People were losing their partners who preferred playing the game over spending time with them. Reports regarding Evercrack have been virtually non-existent over the past few years, but there’s no denying that it certainly made its mark in the MMO landscape. Will the expansion spark new interest in the game?
