Sneak Preview: Link’s Crossbow for the Wii

Yes, much like Twilight Princess before it, Link’s Crossbow for the Nintendo Wii will be washed in every color of the rainbow, assuming that the rainbow is filled with a bunch of browns. It seems like the controls for the crossbow are similar to the aiming of the bow and arrow in Twilight Princess, but the training module is much more comprehensive, replete with target practice.

These images were apparently taken from the latest Nintendo Power issue and they show us that there’s more to the controls than “just pointing and shooting.” Wii Play this is not. That said, the editors at Nintendo Wii Fanboy (where you can get a few more pics) are “still convinced that the Zapper is worth even the experience in training Link up with a new weapon.”
