Smash Bros. Brawl Gets Little Mac from Punch Out
Get ready for even more nostalgia. Although Nintendo no longer supports Nintendo, they do know where our collective hearts lie and they know all too well how to tug on those heartstrings. If you hop on over to the official Smash Bros. Dojo, you’ll discover that a familiar face will be making an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii.
Granted, the last time we saw this guy, he was heavily pixelated and the conversations he had with his coach could only be understood through subtitles. He pounded his way through King Hippo. He struggled his way past Bald Bull. And he sometimes managed to get by the nearly impossible Mike Tyson. Yes, my friends, Little Mac from Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out is going to be in SSBB.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that he is not going to be playable character, so it’s not like you can pit Little Mac against, say, Solid Snake. Instead, our favorite underdog boxer will be an Assist Trophy.
