Sing and Dance in 3D with Boogie DS

Boogie hasn’t exactly been receiving the most positive of reviews lately, but Electronic Arts is still pushing forward with their strange alien-infested video game that attempts to merge Karaoke Revolution with DDR… kind of. The Wii version involves the waggling of the Wii Remote, so I’m not really sure how the “rhythm” aspect is going to kick in with this latest development.
EA has announced that they are working on Boogie DS, another song and dance for the Nintendo DS. To make matters even more strange, the game will reportedly come bundled with a set of 3D glasses (why am I reminded of 3-D Roadrunner from the old school NES), granting users a so-called immersive experience.
Boogie on the Nintendo DS is set to feature new gameplay modes and mini-games not included in the Wii version, implemented to make playing on the go a doddle. The title will include three main dancing gameplay modes (Copycat, Freestyle and Choreography), as well as a fully fledged career mode as gamers embark on a mission to become the Boogie Master.
As if you won’t look goofy enough singing into your DS on the subway, you’ve got to have goofy red and blue 3D glasses too.
