Rockstar Officially Announces Max Payne 3
Rockstar has announced that it is working on Max Payne 3. Development for the game is already underway and is expected to come out later this year.
“We’re starting a new chapter of Max’s life with this game,” Rockstar’s Sam Houser said. “This is Max as we’ve never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. We experience the downward spiral of his life after the events of Max Payne 2 and witness his last chance for salvation.”
Max Payne 3 is going to be available for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Aside from that and the image above, no other details were released. The only thing that I can speculate about at the moment is that given the picture preview, it looks like they’ll be retaining the game’s signature artwork. That means the story will unfold in a comic book format and the narration will be done noir-style.
