Rock Band Update Brings In-Game Music Store
So, you’ve managed to conquer all the tracks in Rock Band, including the absolutely awesome Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld. It’s time to move on to more songs in Rock Band, but it’s such a pain having to exit the game each time you want to buy a few more tracks. Harmonix and crew are coming to the rescue, because the latest game update is going to integrate a music store directly into the game.
You’ll be able to access said music store from the main menu, just below the “Community” option. While inside the store, you can browse through the selection based on artist, song, genre, album, pack, and difficulty of the song. If you’re not all that great with song titles, the music store also lets you preview the song. Ah yes, that one! I know that one! And yes, it has original album art too.
The integration looks uber tight, fully encouraging us to spend our hard earned money on more songs, more tracks, and more rocking. Rock on!
