Rock Band 2 Bonus DLC Is Finally Coming

When Rock Band 2 launched on the Xbox 360 a couple of months ago, Harmonix promised that owners would gain access to 20 bonus songs for free and these would come in the form of DLC. Some of us were led to believe that these songs would become available immediately, but things didn’t exactly go as planned. Well, after all that waiting and all that moaning, the extra tracks are finally on their way.

As you know, there was a special registration code printed on the instruction manual for Rock Band 2 and gamers had to go to the official website to register an email address. The promise was that a redemption code would be sent to the provided email address, and this code could then be used to access the free DLC.

Harmonix just started sending out the redemption download codes last night and they say that the codes will be sent out over the course of a 24-hour period. If you haven’t received your code yet, fret not. You’re not alone, because I didn’t get the code yet either. Oh, and if you’ve got the PS3 version, you’ll have to wait until all the Xbox 360 people have been covered.
