Reviews: Heavenly Sword

Gamespot has a video review of Heavenly Sword. To address the comparison with God of War, yes, the similarities are there, but it looks like this title can stand on its own.

The production values are top-notch, which is one of the reasons why the game is compared to a summer blockbuster movie. The main gripe lies in the length, or “the lack thereof”. If it’s any consolation, the game does feature some use of the Sixaxis controls.

As always, the decision is up to you. Note the approximate length of the game: 6 hours. At $60 USD, that’s like paying 10 bucks per hour. Personally, I doubt that even the bonus content would be able to make up for the lack of gameplay.
