Review: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
The reviews for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are coming in, and to tell you the truth, they’ve been disappointing. Kotaku has a compilation of them and it summed them up with “Ahh, the Force is inconsistent in this one…”. I chuckled when I read that earlier. Yes, chuckled. I can’t laugh that hard. I was really hoping the game would do well with the critics.
…in some places the execution is really off, making the game terribly frustrating in some moments and downright dull in others. Sometimes you’ll be left scratching your head at why something it the way it is in the game.

The Force Unleashed is most definitely a flawed game, but with the help of some amazing acting, a deep plot and rampant force kills is sure to please most Star Wars fans.
If you browse Wikipedia as much as I do, you’ll know that the critical response sections of movies, albums and other things that are subject to criticism often contain the phrase “reviews are mixed”. This is probably what’s going to happen here. As a Star Wars title, fans will still purchase it. Players who are after the gameplay are probably going to try it out first though.
