Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 – Promotional Spot

I’ve seen a lot of classic characters in my day. There’s the Italian plumber that everyone knows about and then there’s a speedy blue hedgehog, but none have been quite as funny as the rabbids introduced in late last year. The mini-game fest was particularly enjoyable on the Nintendo Wii. Given the burgeoning popularity of the screaming bunny-like creatures, it came as little surprise when we heard Ubisoft was working on a sequel. The gameplay videos certainly looked promising.

All this said, what made the original Rayman Raving Rabbids were those hilarious promotional spots and commercials that were released just prior to the game’s launch. They got viral on YouTube and spread throughout the blogosphere. And now Ubisoft is doing it again with RRR2. What you see above is another hilarious clip where the rabbid goes around the world. I wonder if he’ll get the yellow jersey?

On a side note, we hear that the DS version of the new game will feature less platforming and more multiplayer-friendly mini-games, much like its Wii counterpart. Good news, cause the platforming rabbid game kinda sucked.
