Puzzle Quest Expansion Announced
Can’t get enough of Puzzle Quest? If the puzzle/RPG hybrid has you seeing colored orbs in your sleep, then you’ll be glad to know that you’re in for more. A new expansion, called Revenge of the Plague Lord, is in the works. Unfortunately, it’s currently scheduled for an Xbox Live Arcade release, so those of us who enjoyed it on other platforms will have to wait for further announcements.
The expansion pack, previously known as Puzzle Quest 1.5, will cost 700 Microsoft points and promises “hours of additional gameplay.” Four new hero professions will be available–bard, ranger, rogue, and warlock, and there will be “more than 50″ new spells alongside 40 additional magical items. The level cap is lifted to level 60, and three new achievements will be on offer.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as further details are revealed. I’m keeping my eye open for the PSP version.
