Preview: Heavy Rain Demo

Although there wasn’t a lot of information about it at the time, Heavy Rain really caught my eye when its first trailer was released because of the voice acting and dialogue. There was something both disturbing and intriguing about the protagonist, Mary Smith. I ended up playing the clip over and over again before I got tired of it. I don’t normally do that with trailers, mind you.

Here’s the Heavy Rain demo from GC 2008. We actually see gameplay footage this time.

As you can see from the trailer, it’s likely going to be an adventure game. The trailer certainly seems interesting, so I hope that the narrative holds up when the game is finally released and reviewed.
