Play Jenga on the Wii

I know that a big push behind the Nintendo Wii is its ability to attract casual gamers. This is because many of the titles are remarkably easy to play, providing a very low level of entry. You can bowl, box, and golf in Wii Sports by simply mimicking real life motions. But this latest development, well, I’m not so sure about.

It has been confirmed that a version of Jenga — yes, the block-moving family game — is being created for the Nintendo Wii. The motion-sensitive controls make sense, I guess, because you can use the Wii Remote for some pretty accurate movements, but c’mon, freaking Jenga?!? The only value that this virtual game would provide would be that you don’t have to re-stack that stupid tower each time. That, and you get to play as a penguin.
