Nintendo’s Miyamoto Gawks at Killzone 2

Shigeru Miyamoto is the king of Nintendo. He was the one that introduced us to a pudgy Italian plumber for the first time. He’s quirky, but he’s always been family-friendly. A good portion of the concept behind the Wii was probably his idea. That’s why it’s a little strange where Miyamoto found himself during E3.

Instead of checking out the displays for games that would compete against Wii Sports: Resort and Wii Music, Shiggy actually spent a good amount of time checking out Killzone 2 in the PlayStation neck of the woods. Nintendo has never made a hardcore first-person shooter, but could Miyamoto’s interest be pointing toward a future Mii-inspired FPS? I doubt it.
