Nintendo Infiltrates Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader

Just like every other popular game show, it seems like producers are working on a Canadian version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Just like what they did with Deal or no Deal and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, there are going to be a few changes to the show to make it a little different than its American counterpart, if not a little more Canadian. And what’s more Canadian than playing with a Wii.
At least that’s what Nintendo seems to think, because they’re pumping in mega-marketing bucks into Are You Smarter Than a Canadian 5th Grader (that’s really the title… I’m not joking). Wii machines will be set up at children’s casting calls to test their abilities and what’s more, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is actually going to be featured on the game show itself. We hear that the $25,000 question is getting renamed as the Big Brain Academy Question.
One thing’s for sure: Nintendo is certainly smarter than Jeff Foxworthy.
