Ninjatown for DS is Really Good

The game may look a little quirky and a little kiddy, but it turns out that Ninjatown for the Nintendo DS is actually a really good game. In essence, it blends certain elements from games like Starcraft and SimCity, getting you to look over a, well, ninja town. You develop different kinds of ninjas, fend off invading ninjas, and manage the town.

GameShark calls it a sleeper hit with an innocent appearance, but it “oozes sugary sweetness.” Game Informer echoes the 91/100 score by GameShark with a 90/100 score of its own, reminding us not to “let the cutiie-pie exterior fool you.” This is a “gamer’s game through and through.”

In like manner, 1Up and GameDaily give grades of B+ and 80/100, respectively.

Best Buy USA will have Ninjatown on sale for $15 on Black Friday, so you may want to hop over the border to nab this unique title.
