Ninja Sequel In Your DS
It has to be said. Halo 3 is done. Finished. The highly-anticipated shooter will be in the hands of gamers on September 26. I hope you have a cooling solution ready for your Xbox 360.
In other news, the Legend of Kage is coming to the DS. I have fond memories of the game back when it was on the NES. You ran through a forest with a ninja population, throwing occasional shuriken while mashing down on the sword button. Just when you think it was safe to jump, and by jump I mean literally leaping over tall trees in a single bound, some guy in a salakot throws a fireball at you, sending you crashing to the ground wondering where things went wrong. There was something diabolical in the game’s repetitive nature that made you want to go through it just to see how far you would go without dying.
Of course, it’s not something that I’d like to do these days, so while I like the news about a new Legend of Kage game, I hope that it will stick to the ninjas and leave the repetition behind.
