Metal Slug 7 with a Giant Robot

I have a soft spot for 2D sidescrollers. I can’t even begin to imagine how many quarters I pumped into arcade machines in the 80s and 90s, enjoying titles like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, X-Men, Contra… those were all incredibly awesome, but one franchise that still remains a crazy amount of fun to this day is Metal Slug and it’s coming to the Nintendo DS in the form of Metal Slug 7.

How are they going to reinvent the wheel? Well, if you check out the video above, you’ll notice that our favorite soldiers have a new weapon at their disposal. No, it’s not another tank. It’s a huge freaking robot! If that doesn’t ooze with awesomeness, I don’t know what does.
