Mega Man 9 as WiiWare Next Week
Mega Man. Aside from someone like Ryu from Street Fighter, you have to admit that the little blue robot is one of Capcom’s best known mascots. We’ve been treated to many years of Mega Man’s adventures, but the most fun was easily had with the original series on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Capturing this retro appeal is the upcoming Mega Man 9.
When is it going to finally get released? We’ve been sitting on pins and needles for what seems like forever, but the dates have finally been announced. Wii owners can rejoice, because they’re getting first dibs on the hotly anticipated action-adventure game. Mega Man 9 launches as WiiWare on September 22nd. That’s next week.
Following shortly afterward is the PlayStation Network for the PS3 on September 25th and the Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360 on October 1st. Pricing will be similar across the board.
