Mass Effect DS Not Entirely Out Of The Question
Provided that things go well, Final Fantasy won’t be the only RPG you’ll be carrying around with you. Bioware is thinking about bringing Mass Effect to the Nintendo DS. It’s not the only game under consideration though, so don’t get all excited just yet.
…here’s another concept to chew on: BioWare’s Miles Holmes says that the developer is considering bringing Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Jade Empire to the DS. In fact, he also mentioned that Sonic Chronicles was a specific effort in hopes of getting BioWare’s handheld division off the ground.
I didn’t even know that Bioware had a handheld division. Regardless of whether it gets these titles out, we’re in for some RPG goodness on the DS and the PSP should the powers-that-be pull it off. Baldur’s Gate DS? Heck, maybe we’ll even see a Planescape title. Get it off the ground already!
