March 29: Guitar Hero Metallica

Now might be a good time to invest in a second kick pedal for your Guitar Hero drum set, because you’ll certainly need it for some of the more challenging tracks in this upcoming game. We already know that Guitar Hero: Metallica is in the works and now we’ve got a date to circle on our calendars as well.

It has now been announced that March 29th will be the official North American release date for Guitar Hero: Metallica. Other major regions will have to wait until some time in May before they get their hands on some crazy Enter Sandman and Blackened action. Along with Metallica, the special rhythm game will also feature some other rock legends.

There are 28 Metallica tracks in all, in addition to the guest artists that will be featured on the disc. Do bear in mind that these songs will all be quite difficult, so it may not be the best option for little Timmy. He may want to start with Guitar Hero World Tour before graduating to something at this level. He’s got a little over two months for training.
