Madden ’09 Lets You Turn Back Time

Have you ever had the experience playing a sports game where you wish you could turn back time and run that play again? Maybe you shouldn’t have tried to force that pass to Terrell Owens? Was it the interception that cost you the game, the season, and your shot at the Super Bowl.

It seems that Electronic Arts feels your pain, because for Madden NFL 2009, they’re integrating a feature called EA Sports Rewind. In a nutshell, if you didn’t like how that play went down, you can rewind and do it again. It’s the mulligan of the football world. And can do the do-over as many times as you want.

I don’t know about you, but that just sounds like cheating to me. You might as well put in some codes for guaranteed catches and untackability or something. Thankfully, EA Sports Rewind is optional and offline only. Unthankfully, I have a feeling this feature is going to find its way into all other EA Sports games.
