LOTR: Conquest Takes Demo Online for XBLA

There may only be one ring to rule them all, but can jump online and seek out that ring with all of your friends for free. Hopping over to the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace for the Xbox 360, you may notice that there is a rather juicy demo waiting for you.

The new demo for The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is available for download, but it comes with something pretty special. Instead of being a simple solo affair, the demo makes way for online multiplayer, a realm that is normally reserved for full purchases of new video games. The game was supposed to be released a little while ago, but at least the demo is available.

Be forewarned, though, that if you find yourself a little lacking in the hard drive space department that the LOTR: Conquest demo takes up over a gig of space on its own. At least it’s free!
