Limited edition PlayStation 3 in WHITE

Limited edition. As in very limited edition. As in just one.

Maybe that’s what’s been holding back the popularity of the PlayStation 3 as of late (other than the folks hoping to flip it for a profit on eBay… sorry, that boat has sailed, as the average selling price is hovering right around retail now) is that it only comes in a glossy black. Sony, don’t you know that everyone loves glossy white electronics (iPod, DS Lite, Wii), or better yet, a choice of colors?

If you want to get your hands on a white PlayStation 3, you’re going to have to bid on it. The eBay auction is at US$1,525.01 and counting. Ends December 31, 2006. But hey, even the controller is white.

The best part? The seller is Canadian!
