Latest Wii Fit Commercial Reveals Nothing

Just as Wii Sports introduced us to what is possible with the Wii Remote, Wii Fit is supposed to introduce us to what is possible with the Wii Balance Board. You’ve probably seen the first commercial and a smattering of screenshots, so when Nintendo released this most recent commercial, we were hoping that they would show us a little more. After all, games like Manhunt 2 are much more involving that Wii Sports: Baseball.

Too bad for us. The above ad spot basically reveals nothing but a pretty Japanese girl making a funny face before discovering that her center of balance is off by just a bit. And that’s about it. I’m just waiting for an opportunity to shred up a mountain with a Wii Balance Board rendition of snowboarding or skateboarding. That should be fun.
