Kratos on Vacation, God of War III Delayed

We all know how much we had playing God of War 2, which was released some time last year. It was easily one of the most epic titles to be released and then it got a little more feminine (sort of) with the launch of Heavenly Sword, the latter of which might be referred to as Broad of War. But when will be taking over the controls of Kratos again?
Apparently, the bald-headed protagonist is sipping umbrella drinks in the Caribbean, because God of War 3 could be delayed until Christmas 2009. And that’s at the earliest. If Kratos finds himself a nice spot in Havana, he might be vacationing until well past that date, leaving us without a new God of War game for an unforeseen amount of time.
Naturally, God of War 3 will be released on the PlayStation 3, so developers need a little bit of time to adjust to the new hardware and to make use of its full graphical capabilities. There was a two year separation between first two God of War games, so another two year separation only makes sense.
This rumored release date is just that — a rumor — so take it with a grain of salt.
