King Pack for Castle Crashers Released

I don’t think this is the patch that everyone has been waiting for, but it could be quite a bit more fun. Castle Crashers is easily one of the most popular games on the Xbox Live Arcade and now it’s getting treated to something called the King Pack.

Available for 160 Microsoft Points through the Xbox Live Marketplace, the Castle Crashers King Pack expands on the side-scrolling beat-em-up by offering a couple of fun extras. Interestingly, this is the only update to the Marketplace for the week, but at least it’s a good one.

With the King Pack, you gain two new playable characters (The King and the Open Faced Gray Knight), the new Pelter animal orb, and three new weapons (NG Lollipop, NG Gold Sword, and the King’s Mace). You don’t have to be a knight to crash a castle! The king can mix it up too, crown and all.
