Introducing the New Smash Bros. Combatants

Super Smash Bros. Brawl might have delayed on the Nintendo Wii, but I’m just as excited now as I was a year ago about this game. The first two iterations in Nintendo’s fighting game franchise were super smash hits and I fully expect the Wii version to be even more awesome. Perhaps one of the coolest additions is the, well, addition of new characters.

With a growing army of smashers, it can be a little confusing to know who’s actually being included and where they all came from. You may vaguely recognize Pit from his Kid Icarus days, but do you really know Pit? That’s why the video above from GameTrailers is so handy. They go through a number of the new combatants, outlining their historical significance and what they can do in SSBB. This is only part one, so we’ll have to wait until part two to get the full skinny. If that makes any sense.
