Hell’s Kitchen Video Game… Are You Kidding Me?

A cooking game is already pretty unconventional. I thought that Cooking Mama for the Nintendo DS was interesting, only because of its quirky Japanese cutesy-wootsy anime styling. It looks like Mama might have to move over a couple steps, because the foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsay is about to invade the world of video games.

Apparently, there is a Hell’s Kitchen video game in the works and it is destined for “all major platforms.” I wonder how the Wii controls will come into play… how do you get it to cuss, swear, and throw a fit?

The Hell’s Kitchen game is being developed by the same people that are working on the PC adaptation of The Price is Right. Ludia isn’t exactly a household name, but it seems that they’re more than happy to cash in on our love for television game shows and reality TV programming.

Ludia founder and CEO Alex Thabet says that the Hell’s Kitchen game will feature “the fun of the kitchen boot camp experience.” I hope they don’t take out the profanities. Look for it to ship in 2008, coinciding with the fourth season of the TV show.
