Guitar Hero: World Tour Gets Sting Too

Yesterday, I presented you with a video of Billy Corgan doing the motion capture thing for Guitar Hero: World Tour. We knew that the Smashing Pumpkins lead guitarist would be leading his virtual likeness for the upcoming rnythm game and now another rock legend has announced his availability. We already know about Jimi Hendrix and Ozzy Osbourne, so who else could it be?

Based on the picture depicted above, you can probably guess. Yup, it’s Sting. You can play as Sting during your vocal career if that’s your cup of tea, or you can also “play alongisde him” when you rock out to Demolition Man by the Police. Sting! Woohoo?

In addition to the blonde wonder, Tool will also be in the game with Parabola, Schism, and Vicarious, though they are not bringing their likenesses to the game. Guitar Hero: World Tour ships October 26.
