Guitar Hero: World Tour for Wii Gets DLC, But How?

Given that the Nintendo Wii has a mere 512MB of internal memory and the only game that grants us direct access to the SD card slot is Mario Kart Wii, I’ll have to take this “confirmation” with a serious grain of salt.
According to Vicarious Visions, the version of Guitar Hero: World Tour (the one that comes with drums and a mic) for the Nintendo Wii will indeed have downloadable content. The DLC available for the Wii GH:WT will be actual songs, much like the DLC found on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. This sounds like good news for Wii owners.
But seriously, how is this going to work? There’s no way that we’re going to be able to have any usable DLC system with just 512MB of internal storage. Stash a few virtual console games on there, a couple of EA Sports game saves, and you’re already getting close to filling that up. How can you fit a Guitar Hero song in there too? Does Vicarious Visions know something about memory expansion on the Wii that we don’t know?

That is why you save them to an external SD card
