Guitar Hero: Modern Hits for DS

Activision told us that they would be producing a lot of Guitar Hero games in the next couple of years. In keeping with this promise, the Nintendo DS may soon be treated to yet another portable version of the popular rhythm game franchise.

Following up on the success of On Tour and Decades, it seems that the DS will be getting Guitar Hero Modern Hits next. This was outed by the guys as ESRB as part of the board’s rating process. Aside from the title, we don’t have much in terms of information for GH: Modern Hits. Given the title, we’re assuming that only more recent songs will be included in this DS offering.

The gameplay will be identical to On Tour and Decades, as far as we know, simply expanding by adding new tracks. Some of these songs include Sum 41′s “Still Waiting”, Franz Ferdinand’s “The Fallen” and Finger Eleven’s “Paralyzer”.
