Guitar Hero III for Wii Gets Mono Sound Only

Shafted!!!! While Nintendo Wii owners love waving their Wii Remotes around for a rousing session of Table Tennis and pointing the Wii-motes at the screen like a glossy white handgun, there are certainly other sacrifices that must be made. There are no HD graphics, for example, but Nintendo owners have typically received the short end of the stick when it comes to graphics. But what about sound? Ninty can handle sound, right?
Apparently not. Although the Wii version of Guitar Hero III is the second best-selling version (Xbox 360 wins this fight), it comes with one rather massive pitfall. There is no Dolby Pro Logic II. What’s more, there is no stereo sound. How can we be expected to enjoy all these fantastic rock tracks when they’re sent to us in bloody mono sound. Mono? Like, seriously?
This is in stark contrast to the stereo and Dolby promised by the box. Apparently, Activision is “looking into it right now” and the cause appears to be software-based.

Oh That Sucks. I Was Really Looking Forward To Buying THis But Now That I hear It’s Only In Mono I Might Reconsider. I’ll Have To Give It A Bit Of Thought.
