Godzilla Storms the Wii, Killer 7 Does Not

So, do you want the good news or the not-so-good news first? How about we start with the downer and work from there.

Contrary to earlier reports, Killer 7 will not be coming to the Wii, at least not anytime soon. Capcom has denied that a Wii version of the cel-shaded craziness exists, while they agree that “the innovative control system of the Wii would seem like a good match for the innovative gameplay of Killer 7.” They’re not saying that it won’t happen, but they have no plans for it at this time.

On a brighter note, Kotaku got their hands on eight new screenshots for the upcoming Wii Godzilla game. Scheduled for release some time this fall, Godzilla Unleashed will feature 23 enormous creatures doing what they do best. Rawr!
